I just reviewed my 500th book on Goodreads. I'm sure there are books I've read that I haven't remembered. Most of these have written comments. I can't believe I've read so many books.
K, I read often also, and I know the sacrifices I make to do so (dishes unwashed, sleep not obtained). I'm curious how you are fitting reading into your life?
Well, hubby was in Iraq for nearly 2 years. As soon as the kids went to bed at 7 I read. Sometimes if I have a really good book I read it all night long. Pretty much all the books aren't Dickens or anything, pretty simple reads, quite a few are in the 200 page mark and I can get those done in a couple hours.
I also have the no sleeping, dirty dishes days. My favorite quote is "A clean house is the sign of a wasted life"
I'm going to a derby recruit night Saturday and hubby thinks my name should be Paige Turner. That's probably already taken though.
Not taken, although there is a similar one (Paige Burner). You still might get away with it. http://www.twoevils.org/rollergirls/
Have excellent fun at the derby. It's not a cure all, but it's fun nonetheless. You'll make some friend too to help out when the homestead needs a few extra hands :D
