The Awesomeness of Old

We took a trip to Cracker Country for National Smithsonian Museum Day today.

The simplistic beauty of these hundred plus year old homes just speaks to my soul.

I look around and think "Yeah, this is where it's happening. This is the place to be."

The simplistic beauty of purpose is astounding.

It's even better when the kids are completely engrossed.

Especially in a place where hard work is valued,

and there are no electronics to mollify them.

I am so with you on this sentiment. I crave this simplicity...with some solar panels running my AC, at least from June-mid-September. So are the rest of the photos going to be posted on facebook? SO glad our kids got to run around together.
