I'm still not 100% to get a longer post together but I thought you might like to see the results of the new sprouts that got planted last Monday and the progress under the new grow light.
That's a pumpkin and the one you can hardly see behind it is a watermellon.
These are regular bibb lettuce. Almost the whole tray has sprouted! Still waiting on everything else. As far as the light is concerned, it's really quite grand. I haven't noticed any additional heat keeping it on really all day. The only thing to watch for is that it will dry out the seeds quickly. I've been having to lightly water twice a day to maintain moisture.
