Your puppy is cute! You CAN give "general" vaccinations to dogs yourself. They can be purchased for a few dollars with instructions at most feed stores. Puppies should be given these shots every few weeks, a vaccine schedule can be found online. Once the dog reaches a year old, the vaccines should be given once a year. Rabies shots must still be given once a year by a vet.
